As a writer, I’m an amateur, and not a writer at all. I write mostly for fun, while a few months ago I started a book blog. Now, I try to write fiction, articles, and blogs, but mostly I write for fun.
The fact is that when it comes to writing I’m a big stickler for the basics, especially grammar and spelling. I have no idea why I’m such a stickler, but I do it. I spend hours and hours making sure every sentence has the right inflection and spelling.
Ashley Edmonds spends the bulk of her days in the kitchen, reading magazines and eating cookies. One day she decides to start blogging, and not only does she have no clue what she is doing, but she’s also not a very good blogger. She becomes a regular contributor to the blog and is even invited on a few shows to discuss her work. She begins to get better and better at her blogging, and soon she is a full-fledged blogger, as well.
It’s a fascinating world to watch. Ashley tells us that she is not afraid to start a blog if she thinks it could help her get noticed by others. She is quite the self-promoter, and she continues to post about her life on her blog. The post she is most proud of is an article about her sister’s divorce. Not only is she posting about her own life, but she is also posting about other people’s lives.
Ashley is definitely a “blogger” in the sense that she is posting her life, she is creating her own space online for herself and others to come and read and comment on. The thing about blogging is that it is just a small part of our lives, and while we can create a blog to tell stories more or less about ourselves, we are still essentially just telling our own stories.
Ashley has a blog, Ashley Edmonds and her Life, but in a way it is much more than that. If you are a blogger, then you are going to write the same sort of things you would tell to people. You are going to create your space and share your thoughts, so that we can all know that you are not just another anonymous blogger who has the same thoughts and emotions as you.
I want you to know that I love and appreciate all the great things Ashley has written here, but I also think that she is mostly blogging as a way of sharing those thoughts with others who may not have the patience to read them. That is the only reason I am writing this. Ashley’s blog is a place for me to share my thoughts with others in a way that allows me to write about things that I think you would like to know about me. That is how I feel about this.
Ashley Edmonds is one of the most popular writers on the internet, and she often writes about the topics I’ve written about here. This is one of those topics.
She’s a bit of an unusual writer to be writing about this.
