Hi, is she here? My name is Stefy Quinn and I’m a graduate student at Boston University. I’m a full-time freelance writer and creative consultant who’s been writing about yoga for the past 13 years.
I was recently sent an article from the New York Times, which was about my personal experiences when I went on a yoga retreat with yoga instructor Stephanie Quinn. I wanted to learn more about her and her work, so I reached out to her to ask her some questions.
This is what Stephanie wrote: “I am the most well-known and well respected yoga teacher in the world. I am a certified teacher, life coach, and yoga instructor. I teach from the perspective of a practicing yogi, who I am sure everyone in the world knows. I teach and perform yoga for the benefit of my students, for myself, and for my students.
Stephanie, I’m glad you’re writing so well. I think you would be a great teacher.
Stephanie is really awesome! She is one of the most positive, enthusiastic, and enthusiastic teachers I have ever met. She is also the greatest yogi I have ever met. She knows how to be a yogi and she knows how to be a great yogi. She knows how to inspire and teach students and she knows how to be a teacher. I would love to be a student of hers.
I think that your teacher should be more careful in what she says, or in what she uses to say it.
This seems like a no-brainer. If I could tell you that you are a great teacher, I would. But I can’t because I don’t know you. I respect that you would like to be a student of mine.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like all the best teachers I’ve had are good at what they do. A teacher who is terrible at what she does is just a teacher. A teacher who is good at what she does is great. A teacher who is great at what she does is a great teacher. But a teacher who does not do what she does well is a terrible teacher.
The only thing that I can think of that stefy (or anyone) has in common with teachers is that they are not great at what they do. In fact, I don’t have any teachers in my life. I have teachers, they are my students, and I love them. But it seems like the teachers who are great at what they do are the most likely to be bad teachers.
I see a lot of teachers. They are the same ones I see in school all day. And they are all good at what they do. Teachers are my life. I love them. But it seems to me that all the teachers I see in school are not great teachers. Sure, they are great at what they do. But they are not great teachers.
