trishyland is a blog that focuses on the intersection of art, design, and culture. With a focus on the creative process, trishyland is meant to inspire creatives to find their own creative voice, while challenging the idea that they should be able to create their art or design without being self-aware.
After a long hiatus, trishyland is back. This time the focus is on the creative process as opposed to the art and design side of things. With the new blog, trishyland is also looking to give more insight into the art and design side of the creative process.
I’m often asked the question “how many creatives do you get on a daily basis?” I can count myself at least four. The first three are people I met through my work and the third is the guy who helped me create my website. They’re all on the creative process and self-awareness side of things (and I hope to share more on this side soon), but there are some creative types who I don’t get on a daily basis.
The majority of the creative process is a constant dance between the artist and the viewer. The viewer is the producer and the producer is the consumer. I do believe that there is a lot of truth in the saying “it’s not who you know, but who you know.” The world is full of creative types that are the opposite of this, but I have to admit I’ve been guilty of that myself from time to time.
If you are the product of a creative process, then you may have some preconceived notions of what’s best for your art, but I believe that there are always “artists” out there who could use some pointers and support to get them moving in the right direction.
I think this is why I love working with artists. From the very beginning, I know that they will make decisions that will push the boundaries of my own thinking, and I hope that you can do the same. If you have a strong connection with someone who is doing a great job, it will be a lot easier for you to start following their suggestions.
First off, I don’t expect you to be able to get to a lot of these artists’ websites, but there are a couple of ways that you can go about it. I’m going to start off with a simple suggestion. It’s not as difficult as it sounds. If you have a strong connection with someone who is doing a great job, it will be a lot easier for you to start following their suggestions.
I think the easiest way is to just write a message on a website, and then start following the recommendations. The idea is that you will be able to see the connection between the artist and the designer on the website. You can also use this as an opportunity to try out some of the tools on the website and see if they work. I also think that if you follow the recommendations, you will get an even stronger connection with the artist.
It’s easy to get distracted by the many artists who have made great things with trinkets and other creative items. This doesn’t mean you should ignore their work, it just means you should be aware of the links that they create. When you see someone’s work, especially if you are able to find a link to their website, you should be able to connect with the artist on a personal level.
Most artists are very supportive of newbies and newcomers, and as long as you are willing to ask for help and listen, you should be able to find some artists you can learn from. If you see artists, or even if you see a link that says “I am learning from you,” then you should be able to contact the artist with that link to ask for help or advice.
